Coming Home to Concrete has been made possible with the generous support of the following organisations in partnership with CCANZ.

Aggregates & Quarry Association of New Zealand (AQA)

The AQA represents some 85 percent of all quarry operators. It was formed in response to the need for an industry group that could represent aggregate suppliers on a range of issues, as well as liaise with specifiers and end users of the materials. Training, education, planning for new and the rehabilitation of old quarries and associated environmental issues are key concerns of the AQA.

Concrete³ is an industry-wide initiative designed to raise awareness of concrete’s contribution to New Zealand’s sustainable development across all areas of economic, social and environmental endeavour. Concrete3 seeks to support the development of innovative and sustainable concrete solutions for the built environment through a programme of education, information and research.

Pacific Steel Group

Pacific Steel Group is a division of Fletcher Building, and New Zealand’s only manufacturer of wire rod, reinforcing bar and coil products, as well as being the country’s largest metal recycler. Pacific Steel Group has a major role in producing reinforcing steel for the construction market, with an 85 percent market share in New Zealand. Seismic® reinforcing bar, made by Pacific Steel, is made specifically to meet New Zealand’s unique seismic conditions and is found in commercial, industrial, infrastructure and residential buildings.

New Zealand Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NZRMCA)

The NZRMCA strives to research, develop, promote and protect the interests of the ready mixed concrete industry by implementing a range of targeted initiatives. The NZRMCA’s areas of activity include ensuring members achieve and maintain a high standard of quality control, representing the industry before Government and its agencies, procuring and disseminating technical information, as well as participating in Standards development.

New Zealand Concrete Masonry Association (NZCMA)

The NZCMA endeavours to advance the wellbeing of the concrete masonry industry by executing a work programme that addresses issues of short and long-term importance. The NZCMA’s objectives include maintaining a commitment by its members to manufacture products that comply with AS/NZS 4455 and NZS 3116, promoting the architectural and engineering uses of concrete masonry both in building and civil engineering, providing representation to public and private sectors, as well as developing and supporting the technical competence of the masonry trade.
